Hi there! My name is Crystal Dunbar and I am an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist, and I believe that therapy is a collaborative process of honoring each unique path. My approach is integrated, drawing from Cognitive Behavioral and Psychodynamic techniques as well as incorporating a mindfulness approach to help my clients facilitate emotional and behavioral changes. Together, we will work on strategies that allow you to address the root causes of your difficulties and build meaningful social connections.
I welcome individuals of all ages and particularly enjoy working with children, teens, individuals, and families. My 20 years in the classroom gives me a unique vantage point and a deep understanding of how life transitions can affect emotional well-being. I can help you or your child work through the transition and develop new coping strategies that can be successfully applied in the home, school, and work settings. I also have experience working with individuals suffering from depression, anxiety, grief, bullying, trauma, and other chronic challenges.
Please reach out with any questions at (310) 613-0488 firstname.lastname@example.org. I am happy to speak on the phone with you before beginning therapy, as I know how important it is to find a good fit.
